Aventurine can occur in different colours depending on what type of mica bits are speckled throughout the quartz and is often referred to as the glitter stone. Green fuchsite, pinky-purple lepidolite, silvery muscovite, iron rich brown or orangey mica create a beautiful range of crystals that have been used for a wide variety of purposes. It is said to support us in all ways after bouts with illness, reminding us that we have the ability to heal ourselves of anything.
