Chalcedony has been used for emotional stability, and transforming negative feelings into positive ones :) It is said to help us release pent up emotions and deal with things that may have happened to us in the past. Chalcedony reminds us that we need to not be so hard on ourselves, and to be more loving and forgiving of things we have done and been through. It doesn't mean we will be this way forever. In fact we can make decisions that are loving and positive. I have a sign in the shoppe that says, "We are always one decision away from a totally different life": Chalcedony says "It's time to be softer, and flow with life. Let's sit quietly, and smile." :)
