Desert Rose has the same chemical composition and allotted meaning as selenite / gypsum crystals, with a few added properties. Desert Rose has been used throughout history as a gentle healer of self-imposed negative programming. It is meant to reverse the root causes of traumas, allowing us to release and let go of anything that holds us back. Further, by allowing this release we can make room for physical and emotional healing of old wounds and diseases, since most diseases stem from stress caused by holding on to bitterness, fear, guilt, self-doubt, anger and unforgiveness. Holding Desert Rose whilst meditating, or having it near is said to diffuse tension, dispel negativity and clear the mind. It can be worn as a charm, held in a pouch, placed near your computer, yoga mat or by your bed.
