Originally discovered in 1916 but rediscovered in 1974, Larimar has been used for inducing states of calm, healing old wounds from the past, and curtailing self-sabotaging tendencies. We tend to be our own worst critics, and we need to ease up on ourselves. Larimar is said to help clear patterns of self abuse and old memories of mistreatment from others. It has watery, purifying qualities that remind us to flow more freely with what is presented to us.
