Rhodochrosite is known as the stone of love, self- love in particular. Rhodochrosite says, "I am here to let you know that you are perfect exactly as you are!" It is said to open the heart and insist on cultivating compassion for all beings; animals, plants, trees, earth, and beings from every imaginable place. Whether we are scientists and/or have a spiritual inclination, it is true that we all come from the same source. Some call it the big bang, where nothing suddenly exploded to become everything; and stages throughout time ours have always shared that we did all indeed come from one unimaginable source.
